Well time for another update! Filming for the music video to 'Brushing Off The Dust', which is the first song on my debut EP has now been completed.. I'm looking forward to watching the end result! I have been busy catching up with friends and writing new lyrics. There is also whispers of maybe a band forming to join me on gigs and developing new songs! All will be revealed in good time! ;-p I have now finished my recordings in London for 'Set Me Free' and 'Behind Your Eyes'... They are sounding big, a little different to the tracks on my EP, whilst still having the Blues, Jazz and Soulful influences. I can't wait for you all to hear what has been created! :-)
The last weekend has seen Adriano Gangarossa perform with me for the first time on acoustic guitar for 2 gigs! We performed in the main bar at The Bull, Colchester Essex, on Saturday, which was very exciting. The Bull is a well-known and very respected music venue in Colchester, it was my first ever gig there and lots of people turned up to give us support. Adriano also performed with me at The North Star in Ealing Broadway, London Sundayevening. I have a few gigs coming up with more to be confirmed soon (please see listing below). I love gigging and it's great to have an awesome guitarist to perform with me, I have been very lucky to have been able to work with great musicians. It would be even more amazing to be able to perform with a live band!
I received more press coverage recently too! Please see the article below to read! Michelle Ward interviewed me for the Made In Essex Newspaper and also had me on her show on Phoenix FM Brentwood back in April. Michelle is a great singer herself and has been amazingly supportive of me, the belief I receive from other people is very humbling and I'm very thankful. It just motivates me even more to continue with what I'm doing. No turning back now!
I will keep you posted on developments and what's coming up as always! In the meantime, you can keep up to speed by checking out my social media (links above).
